About every two hours, a
surveillance camera
installed on the roof of the NRAO container
takes an image of the ALMA site near Cerro Chajnantor.
The camera, installed on 1997 June 15, faces southwest.
A second camera was installed on 2000 December 15 on the roof of the ESO
container facing south. This was repointed to the west on 2002 November 3.
On 2002 November 3, the NRAO camera was replaced by
two new cameras facing north and south.
